This is not your typical Tetas Goulash!
For this recipe, we’re giving the traditional cheese goulash a sweet-spicy upgrade. Imagine crunchy layers of pastry, creamy feta filling, and a drizzle of Tears of Joy Hot Honey that ties it all together — sweet, salty, and fiery. (Just like you)
I must apologize in advance because it is dangerously addictive!!!
Ingredients:
- 8 sheets of Filo dough
- Full Feta Cheese
- 100g of room-temperature cream cheese
- 1 tbsp truffle oil
- 2 tbsp melted butter (for brushing in between layers)
- 1 Egg
- Pinch of Salt
- Black sesame seeds (for garnish)
For the glaze:
- Drizzle TJs Hot Honey
- Drizzle truffle oil
Instructions:
- Preheat & Prep:
Preheat your oven to 190°C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. - Make the Filling:
In a bowl, mix feta, cream cheese (or ricotta), olive oil, egg, and salt until creamy and smooth. - Assemble the Goulash:
- Brush one sheet of filo with butter.
- Add another sheet on top.
- Spoon about 2 tbsp of filling near the corner, then fold into a triangle or rectangle goulash.
-
Repeat until you’ve used all the filling.
- Brush & Bake:
Arrange the goulash on the tray, brush the tops with butter, and sprinkle sesame or black sesame seeds.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, until crisp and golden. - Glaze & Serve:
Drizzle the hot honey over the warm goulash pockets just before serving.
Watch the glaze soak into the flaky layers WITH a few drops of truffle oil — a perfect balance of sweet, earthy, heat, and crunch.
Serving Suggestion: This is best served with mint tea
